Finally, she is home after more than 13 years in jail for drug smuggling. She must be feeling relieved, confused, happy and scared.
I am pleased for her and even though what she did was wrong by law, she definitely deserves another chance.
Although, once she arrives in her home town, she is yet to face old charges which will await her. I do hope for her sake those charges are light, even though the deed was very wrong.
Renae has served her time and it is up to the attitude of everyone else to give her a chance to make a fresh start.
