Time for Spending C.18.11.21

It is rolling up to that time of the year when lots of people are beginning to spend big on the holiday season.

Many people leave holiday shopping until the last moment but there is a great deal of people who have their act together early.

Gift giving has gone overboard. It seems the idea of the thought has disappeared and been replaced with extravagance.

Gift giving should be a gesture. A gesture that is simple and not expensive. We have climbed the ladder to wanting to overspend at a time when the meaning of the gift is lost.

I think it is a nice idea to go back to the simple gift with the thought included rather than the price tag. Because, at the end of the day the expensive gift is only appreciated for a short moment.
