Overconsumed C.18.09.14

We live in an overconsumed society where we have much more than we really need. Like many people, I am guilty of this trait and have made a conscience effort to reduce the amount of spending and accumulation of things I really don’t need.

We overspend. That is point blank. We don’t need half the things we have in our homes and particularly fashion we certainly over do things.

Recycling of everyday things is one thing but overspending on unnecessary things is vastly another. We really do not need all the trinkets we put on the shelf for decoration and we certainly don’t need non-productive bits and pieces.

I don’t want to throw away what I have, so instead I am making the effort not to accumulate more unnecessary commercial and non-productive things.

Make the effort, shop down, not up.
