Anger C.18.08.27

Managing anger is sometimes difficult to keep under control, particularly if the issue is of major importance.

I have a cool down rule where by I allow the moment to pass so I don’t say something I will regret.  The downside to that is people get the better of me and continue to pull me down.

The upside is that when I am ready to return to the discussion I can speak with a clear and concise head. This works about 80% of the time because some arguments really need the at the moment resolution.

Anger is something I dislike. I dislike it when anger is aimed at me and I equally dislike myself when I feel anger explode inside of me.

Generally, anger is followed by disappointment and dealing with a situation of disappointment often outranks the anger.
