It is us who make the famous – famous. Yes, it is our support and interest which keep the celebrities on top.
And of course, the media play an enormous part in this role. When I see write ups of stars like Justin Bieber I just cringe but then I go and read out of curiosity and in turn this strengthens their popularity. Even the people we don’t like to become famous – do because we want to read more.
If there is someone who really doesn’t deserve the attention, then a simple piece of advice – don’t click on any story about them. It is only when something attracts attention do the media continue to market.
Someone like Stephen Hawking deserves credit but someone like Justin Bieber needs some fame adjustment lowered.
