The buzz at the moment is the identification of the unknown planet which could be the ninth planet on the edge of the Solar System.
The fascination and reason why this planet has been delayed in detection is because it may have a slow 10,000 to 20,000 year rotation around the sun. It is estimated about 4 times the size of earth.
Many civil and private scientists have joined in the search to find bodies in the universe and this of course is ringing in many theories.
When a planet takes around 10,000 to 20,000 years to rotate around the sun it becomes clear why the ancients had not spotted this along with the other planets in antiquity. Being on the outer part of the solar system and further away from the sun would also make it a relatively cold planet.
Every new discovery is exciting whether it be on our planet or outside earth in the universe.
