Famous for the stories produced in his name. It is uncertain if he belonged to Celtic Folklore or of the legendary British ruler who let the Britons against the Saxons invaders in the late 5th or early 6th century.

He has become famous for King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. The romance literature drew upon the Arthurian legend of him being the head of the kingdom of Camelot.

He has been portrayed as having magical powers flourishing in the medieval age.
