Superstitions C.8.21

The forces of superstition are very real not because they are true but because they are believed in.

A lot of people place their ideas into myths and ideas preached to them but none of these ideals are true.

My late aunt was a very superstitious woman. She believed in the curse of breaking a mirror, of placing shoes on the table and a great runner for bad luck superstitions.

Superstitions are a state of mind, a power of suggestion but the down side is that it can affect a person so much it can become real. There are many people driven by mythological superstitions.

The world is what you see in front of you so make the most of it and don’t introduce anything mystical which taints the beauty of the world.
